Performances Autumn/Winter 2015

Many apologies for the lack of updates over the last few months. I got married just over a week ago and the run up to the wedding left little time to keep on top of anything other than composing and wedding planning!

I have a few projects in the pipe-line for Autumn/Winter:

Sorrow’s Share
17th September, Snape Maltings, Suffolk.
A Chamber Opera written for the culmination of Jerwood Opera Writing Programme.

I will be in Aldeburgh once again for a week of opera immersion in March! Looking forward to starting a new project and building relationships with other opera practitioners.

Evening Standard ‘Londoner to Watch in 2014′

The Evening Standard has listed me as a ‘Londoner to watch in 2014′ :

Classical music is still considered a man’s world but Fernando — one of three young winners of the Royal Philharmonic Society’s composition prize last year — is trying to challenge that. The Bow resident’s work was played at the Purcell Room at the Queen Elizabeth Hall last month, and she has a concert at the end of May at the Royal Festival Hall.
